To guide and inspire the vast number of scientific and technological workers across the province to take on new missions, demonstrate new achievements and create new accomplishments in accelerating the construction of an innovative Zhejiang and developing new quality productive forces in accordance with local conditions, on December 24th, The release ceremony of the 2025 Zhejiang Province "Most Beautiful Science and Technology Workers" publicity and selection activity, hosted by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Publicity Department of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, was held in Hangzhou and 10 "Most Beautiful Science and Technology Workers" were commended. Among them, our company's founder, Academician Ye Zhizhen, has received this honor!
Personal Profile
Academician Ye Zhizhen is a renowned expert in semiconductor optoelectronic materials in China. He has been deeply engaged in the research of optoelectronic semiconductor thin films for four decades and pioneered the research direction of semiconductor thin films at Zhejiang University. He has published over 800 academic papers, received 30,000 citations from others in SCl, and holds 180 invention patents. He has won the second prize of the National Natural Science Award, 5 first prizes of Provincial and ministerial-level Science and technology awards, and 1 second prize of the National Excellent Textbook Award. He has also trained 70 doctoral students and 150 master's students. He/She has been honored with titles such as National Outstanding Teacher, Outstanding Communist Party Member of Zhejiang Province, Distinguished Expert of Zhejiang Province, Model Worker of Zhejiang Province, and Science and Technology Entrepreneur of Zhejiang Province, and enjoys the Special government allowance of The State Council.
